Taipei- XiZhi, Jiufen, Nanya Rocks
Taxi from port to Keelung train station was plentiful. Our concern was - lift or escalators up to the station. Just as expected, we looked around, there wasn't a lift or escalator! OMG! A lot of area was covered due to some construction works. A kind man direct us to walk through a car park when he saw us with so many staffs. I don't think we can managed the staff up the stairs. The car park has wobble road but it was definitely a better choice. But..... the lift was down , closed and barricaded . The cargo lift was not in operation! Slope down was closed and barricaded too!!!. Choo walked around but couldn't find any lift or so except the stairways! Fortunately, Choo is strong to carry down the luggage one by one while I did little help. Finally, all our things was carried down, after much "nine cow two tiger". :$
I doubled check with the operator the train to our destination. Both trains will go. One leaving in 1 minute, while the other 12 minutes. We choose to take the latter.
Just when the train was leaving, I called our Airbnb owner. She will be picking us at the train station and know the best timing. Somehow, our train stopped 3 times in-between and we were late.
The place we booked looked old from the outside but the interior was fine. The owner is very friendly too. She told us about the bus schedule down to the town and back. it's about 1/2 hour on weekdays and hourly on weekends.
Upon reaching Riufeng, everything will be quite easy. There are signs everywhere. Taxis on the left side has price clearly stated. Buses guide are available too.
to the bus-stop : exit from main gate, walk through a open space (taxis on the left) , cross the road and turn left. 200m but quite obvious.
. to Nanya Rocks - only 856
856 passed by Jiufen, then Golden waterfall , Museum and then Nanya Rocks. The driver will announced. Once alighted, we saw a temple. We crossed the traffic to where the beach is and strolled towards the Nanya Rocks (the same direction where the bus continues)

some come by taxis, some got drivers, others come by bus.
Do removed your shoes and enjoy the water. It is clear and very cooling. Sit, soak and immerse yourself in the whole tranquil environment. do not rush, look, see, take photo and go.
I didn't how much time we spent here, but we see people come and people go. We were enjoying ourselves with the cool water and joking and laughing. I am glad Choo love this place too. Then, we walked back to where we alighted and took the bus from the opposite direction. The sky seem to be getting a little dark as if it is going to rain. We will stop by the waterfall if it didn't rain, else we will go straight to Jiufen. We hope to go back early to catch the sunset from the hilltop again. ( It just cross my mind we could have waited and view the sunset at Jiufen! aiyayaya) anyway ......
Do not rush to take photo once you arrived. Remember the next bus will come in half an hour time. There is plentiful of time to take photos without others in your photo.

our next destination: Jiufen
some auspicious day, quite a big celebration, we saw it this morning on our way to Nanya Rocks too.
the bus passed by here, you could see the waterfall not far ahead.
After walking around Jiufen, we bought some souvenirs and had some food. We took any bus that goes to Ruifang and back to Xizhi. We arrived Xizhi about 3pm where there is no bus back to our stay til 4pm. So we took a taxi back. had a good rest but didn't see the sunset I was waiting for.
Tonight we need to do our packing, tomorrow is home sweet home.
Overall, we had a good trip. missing some in our plans while gaining some experiences unplanned.
Be prepared to have a plastic bag to collect your own rubbish in Taipei, it's not easy to find one sometimes. In Jiufen, they always offered to clear our rubbish if we buy something from them.
People are mostly very friendly to assist when you ask for direction. Our experience was : not all bus drivers are as friendly, sometime quite rude too.
