I have seen this guy working very happily in f&b, enjoying his service to many customers, And he does some part-time dancing too. I knew he need to dress up as a girl for his dance. He told me his dance dress is red and black, so I thought I could make something fun for him and to encourage him.
I cut the tulle to different sizes. about 20 pcs, I tik.
Then, I seal the edges with the little flame. got to be careful not to burn it, no fan. it's pretty hot in our weather to do this without fan, really.
done
time to on the fan!!
wooo........!!!!
Somehow, I was too engrossed in doing it that I forgot all about taking photos til I am done.
Anyway, I stacked the tulle from smallest to the largest and sew it with 3 gold beads.
Then, I cut 2 strips of tulle and rolled them to 2 rose buds. sew to hold it.
Next. I cut 2 strips of the white laces, sew one edge and pulled both ends to get the gathers. sew a gold bead in the centre of each flower. Repeat.
Then, I cut another 2 strips with the black felt, (the length of the clip and width slightly wider)
Arranged the flowers on one piece til I like it, and glued them to one of the felt.
I sew the long feathers to the felt just below the big flower and add more red ribbons and tulles strips.
Lastly, I glued the other piece of felt to the first piece to cover some sewing
Then, sew it to the clips.
I sew some gold bead to each ribbon at random, about 2 gold beads each. it add some weights when wearing and swinging. I think that will be good. I actually hold to my head and feel it.
I added the white feathers to enhance the whole thing.
I wrap in this beautiful box to surprise him. Just to notice he has left home (back to Philliphine for holiday). I shall keep it til November when he returns to work. Hope he will like it and still continue dancing.
will try to feedback once i gave it to him, maybe take a photo when he wears it? shall see......
