My Owls, 2

Today I will continue to share owls around my kitchen and some of my owl wears. I always feel likean octopus inthe kitchen doing mu chores. Sometimes cooking, cutting, washing, this and that doing all together, not wasting a single second. I am sure most housewives are not different from me. Hence, with the company of the owls, it's much happier in the the mist of the busy tasks.

 

These owls watch me when I do my laundry and watch my fridge. I never like visitors, either friends or relatives to open my fridge and stare into it. I cannot understand why some people did it, I felt very offended. Anyway, I think it's a very rude thing to do. On top of this, it's also waste of electricity.

 2010 we had a family holiday in Taipei. My hushand and son spent a week with us. My hubby has to go back to office and my son is preparing for National service then. My girl and me continues our trip. Both kids finished their A levels, while the boy go for National Service , the girl is waiting for her result to go into U.

We did a few more places around Taiwan, and went to Jiu-fen. We didnt really book our stay but try our luck there. My girl prefer the more old and original one, though the owner offer us a newly furnished one for a little more. It was a very good trip together.

My Owls , My collections, My Love

I have always love owls since very young. why? I am not sure either. I remembered a childhood friend has an owl toy. It's pretty hairy. At it's neck it has a spring that allows the head to turn a lot and returns back, very amazing.

I dream about owls too. I just did it last night. It was a purplish owl against a brown background. There was a small square against the bigger one in two tones of brown. The purplish owl was forms with wavy diamonds shape with different hue of purple, very lively.

Til today, I think I have over 300 owls, big n small. If I share a few each day, I should complete in a month.  Follow me.......

This is the first owl I bought. It was in a girls' trip to New Zealand. We have 7 girls in our class, we planned to have a oversea once a year together. We have our next class girls to joins us too. Anyhow, our first trip only has 3 girls ! Hahaha!

It was a memorable trip. We were all very ignorance and quite naive too. We were 18 or 19 then. It was our first oversea trip to a cold country and had many funny experiences.

Our first night in a stay up a hill was really soooooo cold. There were three beds in our room. One choose the inner most, one wanted the centre. I took the one near the door. Our heater didn't seem to work, we called for help but nobody came. They told us something but we didn't really understand their English. Hence we decided to sleep with our jackets and socks on. We thought we were smart. ..... The next morning our tour leader came to check if we are ok.

Tour leader " Wah! 3 of you so neat ah? Your bed is so tidy?"

Us " oh, our heater wasn't working, we slept with our jackets on but still very cool. Too cold to move"

TL " heh? Cold? How? Aiyoyo, each bed has an individual heater meh! See, the switch is here. "

For our usual habits, we need to shower. Though is was cold, the toilet flooring was really icy to step on, fortunately it's a hot shower. My friends let me bath first. It was really a quick shower. " so you warm up the toilet first!" My cute friends, hahaha!

My cousin, Angela gave these to us when we shifted to our new flat. 3 for $10. She told me she could just afford that . She hopes I wouldn't mind. I mind because I love them very much. They are so adorable and very useful too! That was 1993!

This was given to me by my hubby's ex-colleague. He resigned to continued his studies in America and had been back for good. it should be in the mid 90s.

had this in the early 90s too. it has very beautiful tails, but after a few fall, the tail had broken. She is made of cane.
