Hokkaido holiday -day 5 & 6

It's about 1/2 hour walk from Minami Hiragishi station to Toyohira river garden. It's pretty hot today, but the park is filled with people doing their walks while others just lay to absorb the sunlight. This young couple brought their pet to play. He is tiny hedge hog but very active and cute. She even hold up for me to take photo.

I walked around and joined the others, laying on the grass, but I hide in the shade, under the bridge. Life can be simple and beautiful.

A few stations away, I arrived at Nakajima park after a brief lunch. The park is lively too. There are lots of children playing in the park and many people strolling too.

I was taking photo of the bird, this cute, little boy ran toward it.

got it!

here we are again

where's the bird?
                                                      I'm here. hahaha

lovely scenery

this was my childhood too

This little garden attracted many photographers, but they quicky come and go. I was still there, as usual ......

Hokkaido trip - day 4 ,Sapporo

I couldn't have enough of the tofu, so I went back again today. and to my surprised
, a television setting was there. It was quite interesting to see them at work, especially the host. His expression is very important to convinced the viewers how delicious the food is. I don't really believe in their first bite, but with subsequent bites then I'll been more convinced. :))

just prepared. crispy. with the sauce,
                                          very tasty

tall and handsome host
Remember the kind man who helped me on the first day. I'll pay them a visit this morning. (his lady assistant is camera shy)
Koji Okuyama san and me

Koji san recommended me to go Yurigaoka park, off I go!

I noticed there are lockers at Yurigahara station too.

It should be about 20 minutes walk to the park, but I took longer as I made a few stops along the way.

Never follow the map, just strolled what attracted me....

different flowers at different season
wished I could be here all four seasons
this must be one of the obasan that keeps the garden clean and beautiful. Thank you.

owl!!

Taking a rest, enjoying the park. There are many locals that walk their dogs, some jogging and others with little kids. Though it was 2pm+-, the park is lively.
