this is a beautiful piece where i could light a candle. it gives a soft effect.
I added the golden edges, hence it will mellts off. may be one day i'll remove the gold edges.

i saw him in a flea market, have to bring him home.
He could not stand properly, but somehow this time, he stands perfectly.

this is a reminder of another. We visited Europe for our honeymoon, I bought a very pretty lace weaved brooch owl.
I wore it everyday and left it accidently in a hotel room. that was 1988. I still missed her.

my little princess wanted to buy it for me, we tried to explain that we have to open an account in order to get one. Anyway, she walked in bravely without a second thought and came out with one!!!

Managed to do some alterations for my girl's dress and my top.
Sew the curtains today, so satisfying, loving the material more . .
Hopw my mil will love it too.

I visited my friend , Choo to share my cheesy fingers and new year cake.

Her little princess is walking very steadily at almost 13 months old. Very curious girl and active too.

Managed to lengthen a playsuit n sew a dress which was way too huge

hmmm... got to sew my son's 'bed sheet' next week.

i learned to sew a buttonhole too. need to do it for the bed sheet.

D59.18.2.7 An Owl A day a busy day

I had arranged to bring the curtains to my mum-in-law and have lunch with her, but I could not reach her nor my sil (who stayed with her). I was eager to hang and see the outcome. Nevertheless, I had to bring them to my hubby to send it to them when they finally home. I was doing my next target, shopping for material for my Sofa backrest and owl/master room glass panel. Finally, got something I like and cheap. I dare not buy anything too expensive incase I failed my sewing. I wasn't good at it. Then proceed to buy more mushrooms, my in-laws (sil's parents) will be coming my house for our reunion dinner. It will be very warming and hope to prepare a good dinner for all.

Finally, the best came, my girl cooked a fusion spaghetti dinner. I could smelled the fragrant while she was cooking, making me hungry. Yummilicious! my girl is really 'mou tak teng'!!!

I successfully sew the sofa back seat, My son's sofa bed cover n a huge bolster's case, alter my girl's dress and alter her pyjamas! I feel great!!!

Finally, I am done cleaning my owls cabinet for the year!!! Can't remember how many I have , but I love them all!
