2017 - 18 days Japan - day 11 Yudanaka - Snow monkeys park

Our airbnb stay here was the best. We took a photo together. I will come back if I come Nikko again.

It will be a long ride to Yudanaka. 214 minutes with 3 transfer. We will need to pay for the electric train from Nagano to Yudanaka. This is not inclusive with JRP. 1160 yen.

Our airbnb was kind to pick us to his place for check in and drove us to Jigokudani wild monkey park.

We stopped for lunch to refilled our energy though I was excited to visit the park.

I actually enjoyed the walked to the park most. The surrounding was in such serenity and peacefulness that it's tranquility could calm one's mind and soul. I took many depth breath and hope to store this view permanently. The crisp fresh air just makes me feel strong and healthy.

At some point, I felt like an expert     flying through the bushes and landing in stylo post. Hahaha! too much show.

it's a pity the cafe is closed , I would love to sip a hot tea and immerse in this tranquil environment.

The monkeys are comfortable with visitors even sharing the pathway. As long as we do not try to touch them or feed them, all should be fine. There are a numbers of care takers around to stop any visitor who goes too near or try anything funny. They are wild animals, we shouldn't agitate them at all. It's for the safety of all.

the young ones are really active and playful. running about and playing with each other.

Instead of waiting for the next bus, we decided to walk and venture out.

We totally forget to time our walk , it's was really enjoyable.

we washed up and go for dinner. we wanted to rest early, it's another long ride to mt Fuji tomorrow. We booked our breakfast . I love Japanese breakfast.
