this is going to be a long trip for both of us. we are travelling Dubai, Amsterdam, London and Egypt. That's how "Dale" is my post title. We are flying Emirates so that we could have a stopover in Dubai. I have always been looking forward to visit Dubai. the Burj Al-arab hotel, the Palm and the World.....and there is the Burj Khalifa.... sounds like a dreamland to me.
We had a wonderful time. The only hiccup is that we arrived very early in the morning and could not chk-in the hotel after 8 hours of flight can be too tiring to enjoy anything.

Day 1, 2012-3-30 Dubai
We took a taxi to our hotel to leave our luggages. We had 4 luggages .that's really a lot. We had a quick wash and changed thinking that it should freshen-up. Then we took the earliest free bus at 8am to the Jumeirah beach. Photography is not allowed. it is quite a nice beach and the water is really cold. we strolled the beach. We noticed quite a number of Phillippinos there too. we decided to take a local bus and go anywhere ( free and easy) but with a nol card, we are not allowed. the metro station will not be open til 2pm. It's friday. so we took a taxi to Dubai Mall instead.

It's about 11am, but we are really tired. had quick lunch and head back to hotel. Hoping to get a room, at least try. Fortunately we had a room as requested, high floor, no-smoking and pool facing. :)
this nap is really good, we are really fresh when we woke up at about 4pm.
We took a taxi to the nearest station, buy our nol card and head to the Ravi's restaurant. We order differnet curries with nan & rice.
