Taipei - Okinawa part 3
itinery: taipei zoo, train to Keelung, check in to Star Aquarius, Keelung market
It must have been raining last night. We were both too tired to notice anything. The street was wet and the air blowing is cooling.
This is a Sunday morning, the street is very quiet too. Everyone is well wrapped in their blankets. A huge sign above them would say "DO NOT DISTURB".
It's about 7.15am. Life seem to stay pretty still. Nothing is open. Nobody is walking? ? ?
We decided to skip the zoo as it was still drizzling. For a moment, I wish I could still be on bed. Hmmm...life is great to be a little lazy at times to get fully recharged again.
But, they are working hard to make the place clean.
After strolling for awhile, we decided there is no food except for the dimsum restaurant or the bread shop. May be we should go for restaurant and just enjoy dimsum. Before crossing.....
Choo noticed the rain has stopped and suggested that we could go to the zoo. Hence, we buy breads and drinks and sat inside the basement to have a quick breakfast. It's only 8am, we could still be there before 9am. Let's go!!!
right - while testing my camera inside the mrt train, I took the photo of Taipei 101 incidentally!
The zoo opens at 9am but there were already many people waiting to go in. It is much more lively here. There were more excited people, youngsters come in groups, parents with little children and old parents and us.

We were told we might not be able to see any owl at this owl as it has been raining. We were so lucky to find him. He was obviously look at us, very alert indeed. I pretend to hide behind the tree for a few seconds, then popped my head out. The owl immediately tilted its head towards my direction. Chjoo didn't believe it and tried it out with me. Its just turn his head left or right, body staying very still. We were really having fun with him. After awhile, Choo suggested we continue as we have very little time in the zoo. Actually I don't mind staying there til we are ready to leave. Hee......Nevertheless, we explored other area too.

After collecting our luggage, we train to Keelung. We could also take a direct bus from Zhongxiao DunHua, but decide train may be more comfortable as we have a cartoon of cookies.

My plan was to check-in our luggage for the cruise, then we could go Keelung night market . We could have 2 hours. BUT, the counter girl told us there is no luggage check-in. Omg! It's Star Aquarius? I couldn't believe my ears. Plan failed.
While Choo stayed and take care of our luggage, I went out to buy a phone card so that we could contact our next airbnb owner. After much directions of turning here and there, I found the phone shop. They need two identity to buy the card, I have none, except my $ pouch.
On board the cruise, my friend continues to explore while I have a little nap. We choose to eat our dinner later so as no to rush with others. As expected, the restaurant is quiet and not many guests. The table is obviously stained with sauces and what not. I requested to change to another table which look clean but the waitress "it's alright lah. It is just stain of ketchup and sauce only." Very disappointed.
We do not mind reusing if the table cloth is clean, but with dirty stain! This is definitely not right in a cruise ship. Probably the night market has a cleaner table!! For the rest of the evening, I noticed it's the same. thumbs down. In fact, I noticed one of the flag they hang was in wrong direction and reflected it to the supervisor.
