Sapporo - Hon-Hachinohe

This will be another long distance trip, fortunatley Japan has Shinkansen. They are not only punctual and clean, they maintain a low or no noise in each cabin which make the whole travelling very very comfortable and peaceful. I took the earliest 6am Ltd. Exp Super Hokuto 2 to Shin-Hakodate, and transfer another train to Hon-Hachinohe.

The train will arrived in Aomori before going to Hon-Hachinohe. I was deciding to visit Aomori and store my luggage at the station or to go to my hotel first. I had booked my stay in Hon-hachinohe . I would save 2 hours or so, but decided the later.

First, I wanted to check the bus stop where I could take the bus to Oirase Stream. We cannot make reservation for this. This is my top top list, I do not want to miss it.

Secondly, I want to make sure my hotel is directly opposite the station where I can just walk over instead of a loop the google showed. I will be there 3 nights. I stayed in Hotel Select Inn Honhachinohe Ekimae. I could saved some $ and easier when I train to Tokyo later. (to meet my hubby) I actually saved some time travelling to Oirase (about one hour each way) too.

Thirdly, I was struggling to decide to go Aomori or Tanesashi Kaigan sightseeing bus. I could only choose one. I chose the previous due to time constrain.

It was almost lunch time after I happily left my luggage with the hotel ( too early for check-in) which is really just a minute walk away. I had lunch at the station while waiting for my train. I fell in love with the noodles at the station. Looks simple but very tasty.

(When I left early the next morning, I noticed they are already busy in the kitchen and I missed it when I returned as they closed at 6pm. :(( )

First thing I did when I arrived in Aomori was to visit the Seafood market and enjoy my second part of lunch. It was quite quiet. There were about 10 of us, mostly travellers. I bought the ticket for a small portion and joined the others. Green tea and water was available for free.

(abv) I was hoping I could buy the sweet potatoes back if I had stay in a hostel or Air BNB, so that I could steam them.. They look delicious. :))

Today, somehow my wifi wasn't responding well, I managed to find my way to the A factory and the bay bridge as it is quite direct from the station. I didn't really enjoy the A-factory, although I had planned to buy the apple cidar but the service seem bad.(it's quite a rare sign to see such service here) Hence, I buy nothing. From there, I could easily navigate to the Bay bridge. As the weather was sunny but cooling I strolled all the way to the Aspam and wondered away from thereafter discovering the place freely, mostly walking the shaded street. The sun seems a little painful. Then asked my way back to the station.

"Sumimasen, Eki wa doko desuka?" (excuse me, where is the train station?"

and don't forget to say "Arigato gozaimasu" (Thank you)

The room for one person I had booked is clean and comfortable. My washroom comes with a tiny bathtub too.

There is a supermarket nearby too. There are a eatery street ( 15-20mins walk ) but a few streets away according to the receptionist. We communicated with her broken English and my lousy Japanese. Hahaha, but she is friendly and helpful. I was too tired hence I buy my dinner from the supermarket nearby

I think they were having some election. One moment I would hear a man's voice announcing thru' a speaker, then a lady's voice next even though it was raining still outside.
