Jurong Bird Park

We took East-West Line (green) to Boon Lay station.  Look on the left, you'll catch a glimpse of the  Jurong Lake garden. The bus terminal at Boon Lay is air-conditioned!!! You'll pass by the Jurong Point shopping mall. Come here to enjoy some good shopping and lots of eateries after the visit.

Take bus 194 @B8. It's only a bus stop away to arrive Jurong Bird Park.! 

note :- Take the bus from the same bus-stop when returning. It's only a small detour and you get to enjoy the comfort of the air-con in the bus. (not necessarily to cross to the opposite road)

(our experience - we tried to cross over but we met the people at the original bus stop)

It's a healthy fruit. We could eats it fresh when riped, though the dried ones are more popular.

we boiled soup with them too. it adds sweetness to the soup.

I came for the owls but was disappointed to hear that it has been closed down, I got this . .

Get the pamplet at the entrance and plan for the show. There are lots of show and feeding schedule

You can even lunch with the parrots! or enjoy more other  food choices.

Don't forget to bring home some souvenirs too.

Lots of birds are showed in individual cage which is difficult to photograph due to the wire mesh but lovely to watch them fly and chirp around. Sometimes I feel they are like having a competition!

Love the Lory Loft, you could feed the birds and be very near with them in a huge cage!

We left later then planned as the sky was really dark, we thought it's going to rain. Hence, we only spent about 1.5 hours, not enough to cover the whole place.. Plan an early trip as the weather will be much cooler. We had another appointment to attend a travel talk on Northern Territory of Australia.

We came on a Saturday, it was super crowded. Try to plan on a week day. do check the weather forecast.

There are good promotions if you intend to visit more places.
