3 strips for the dress

It's the  dress !!!!




This is the original dress. New. off shoulder 😃

 I cut off the strips of an old skirt for the 2 thinner strips.

Sew the thicker one with the base of the skirt.

Ask my girl to wear the dress, then I put the strips to position and pin.

(that's my sewing method)

then I decide how to sew in order to hide the new sewing lines to. occassionally overlapping the original sewing lines.

For the raw edges, I use zig-zag stitches. ( no serger )

She wanted 2 pockets. So I measure the size of her handphone (with her handphone), cut with  extra for folding.→

Pin to dress and sew →

← the second one, I use my palm size, cut with extra for folding. I made use of the folded edge of the skirt for the top of the pocket.
Pin to position and sew.
